Barbecue
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
1/2 onion
1 heaping Tbsp flour
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 Tbsp A-1
1/2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 pint tomato juice
Directions:
Brown hamburger with chopped onion in electric fry pan. When brown, add flour and stir. Then add ketchup, A-1 and Worcestershire sauce. Pour in the tomato juice and simmer on 200 degrees until thickened.
***FACT: Because of the gluten proteins in flour, flour has the capabilities of adding structure as well as thickening certain dishes.
Brown hamburger in skillet. Boil noodles in another pot. Once the noodles are done, add tomato sauce, water, tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce and vegetables. Drain hamburger and add to the noodles and sauce. Simmer on 200 degrees for 1/2 hour.

"Dorito" Salad
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1/2 head lettuce, diced

1 (8 ounce) package cheddar cheese, grated

Then in a large bowl mix noodles, soup, milk, and can of drained chicken. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. After stuffing has cooled pour chicken mixture over top of the stuffing. Cook for about 35-40 minutes.

This recipe makes lots of soup so to make it last longer you can pour soup in small individual plastic storage containers and freeze until you want to eat it.

Directions:
Carefully open the top of the chips.
Pour a few spoonfuls of hot chili into the bag.
Top with cheese and sour cream.
Eat right out of the bag!

Beef Enchiladas
Ingredients:
1 lb Ground Beef
1 Pkg Taco seasoning
2/3 cup water
1 can Corn, drained
2 cans red enchilada sauce
1 1/2 cup shredded cheese
12 Tortillas
Directions:
Brown ground beef. Once ground beef is fully cooked add water and taco seasoning. Bring to a boil and then simmer for a couple of minutes. Add the can of corn, 3/4 cup enchilada sauce, and 1 cup cheese and stir. Take off heat and spoon meat into tortillas. Roll tortillas and place in a 9x13 inch pan cover the enchiladas with remaining enchilada sauce (1 1/4 can) and 1/2 cup cheese. Bake at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes.
***FACT: Ground beef is a great source of protein, B vitamins, iron and zinc. When you use ground beef try using the extra lean to avoid higher levels of saturated fat.

Hard or soft taco shells
Desired toppings- sour cream, salsa, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, green onions, etc.
Directions: Brown ground beef. Once ground beef is fully cooked add water and taco seasoning. Bring to a boil and then simmer for a couple of minutes. Take off heat ans spoon meat in to taco shells when ready to eat.
